I Need a S650 BULLITT

I miss my BULLITTS! I wish Ford would paint an S650 in Dark Highland Green with the BULLITT emblem on the rear and no running pony in the grill. The car has enough power etc. In a book written by Matt Stone with forward by Chad McQueen, they say that another BULLITT Movie will be out in 2026.

Back when a Bullitt Mustang was a GT with a 390 four-speed less the Mustang badges. That's the car I want with Bullitt wheels. I'm sure it would sell better than the last California Special with the blue trim and the new FX Adriaic Blue/Green with the pretty white wheels and plaid seats!

The Mach 1 was the Bullitt car in the 6th gen cars, and in the 7th gen they dropped Mach 1 and called it a dark horse.

I know why they dropped the Bullitt name, they license it for a couple of years around every major anniversary of the movie, a movie most people under 50 have never seen

But when the license has run out, away goes the name

But on the 6th Gens they decided to rebadge it as a Mach 1 when the license expired.

And as is the case with Ford, their smoke and mirrors marketing dept decided Dark Horse would sell more cars than Mach 1

Yes, a Dark Highland Green Car would be great. I get a bit tired of Black, White, Gray, More Gray, and Red.
There will never be another Steve McQueen. I'm fearful that the next movie will be some foolish AI waste.
I still would like another BULLITT.

The Mach 1 was more than a rebadge. It had the Tremec transmission and additional coolers for track use. It also had a handling package with wider wheels and tires, etc. that wasn't available on the Bullitt.

The MACH 1 was maybe the best Mustang produced for the dollar. Ford made a mistake going with the Dark Horse name IMHO.
I still would like to see a Bullitt with a TREMEC and an optional track package.

And a wing. That was the one thing that I never liked about the bullitt package, the lack of aerodynamic down force.

That is not true. They made the Bullett in 2019-20 and the Mach 1 in 2021 +. Bulletts were similar, but the Mach 1s had the extra cooling bits and Tremec and available HP.

Im sure we will get another Bullett come 2028 or 2029. Ford usually makes them for 1-2 years around the anniversary of the movie.
