Have you noticed the inside cabin getting hot when driving in traffic for long without the a/c? Heat coming from the side where gear box is.

I mean you’re putting damned near 500 horsepower through the transmission that sits inches away from you. Of course it’s going to get hot, especially in endless stop and go traffic. why not just leave the ac on?

What he ^^^ said. Lots of heat being produced engine, transmission, ect. Put AC on when in traffic or idling for a bit.
I almost never turn my A/C off. I use it all winter, as well. I may raise the temp, but it is still the A/C. About the only time I turn on the heater is if there is a humidity problem caused by excessive moisture in the cabin. It takes a long time, but occasionally you need to dry things out. Glenn

Your are so right, I guess I have driven too many German cars with smaller engines powered by their turbo! A/C I guess is the answer in countries like cyprus where sun always shine at 100 degrees!

I'm glad you added the last sentence. I thought we were about to have some entertainment for a minute there. 🤣

That's for damn sure! 100˚ is like nearly baking temps. When I see people doing that during the summer I assume they are baked, from drugs! Glenn

I had been wondering why my right calf had been a bit toasty after leaning it on the granny tunnel after 40 miles of local driving
