I understand why buying the Darkhorse over the GT.
I was thinking of exceeding the advertised HP from a sales advertising end, not overall track performance. I had the Ford performance tune on my previous GTs with Performance package. The tune improved low end and MPG. There was a warranty with...
I'm sure Ford will not release a performance tune for the GT. Even a mild tune would probably exceed the Darkhorse's 500 HP. That's a company No No. You want 500HP buy the Darkhorse.
I have bought factory tunes in the past for previous GTs in 2013 and 2019.
I was told there was no water intrusion, however my is kept in the garage year-round. Very seldom out when it rains. They did follow the procedure, hose the car down to test and made the repairs. Possibly the mechanic did not like what he saw and made the repair without the BCM showing any signs...
I had my 24 GT recall done at Fred Martin Ford (Now called Cochran Ford) in Austintown Ohio.
No problems, dropped off at 8 AM picked up at Noon. I never had any issues with their service department. I bought my first GT in 1983. I have bought 8 vehicles there over the years.
I don't see Ford releasing a performance tune for the GT. Sitting at 486 Hp, a tune with a 14 Hp increase would match the Dark Horse 500 Hp. Definitely a No No. Won't happen.
Cold tires, same as on my 24 GT w PP. Cold tires slips. My C8 has the same thing with cold tires.
The C8 has a display which indicates cold tires. Not actual degree temperature display, But indicates that the tires are Cold, cool, normal, warm, hot.
Why not program it. My 2019 Jeep Cherokee had a Setting screen for brake maintenance.
Didn't have to hop in a circle on one foot while waiting for clouds to pass overhead.
Here's what I had to do.
I had issues with the App update by Ford also. With my iPhone. IOS 26
1) I couldn't login, I deleted the Ford Pass app and reinstalled the latest. Ford app,
2) When trying to open the latest app on the phone I would get an error message saying something like JAVA...
That metho
(I don't doubt you.)
That method I listed above worked for me, I haven't had any warning for over 6 months.
I have driven plenty of straight highway miles.
I did turn it off when the car was in acc mode, not running. I then turned the car off and exited the car. Maybe a software...
