I've been trying this the last two days... seems there's still quite a bit of flex... going to keep playing with it... trying both directions...

Go counterclockwise.
Just went both ways... counter clockwise (3 threads, little further than a quarter) seems to have tightened it nicely... will check on next run if it's cured

Thanks all for the info!!!

Mine came from the dealer well aligned, but still flutters at speed and moves when I gently press/lift on the corners of the hood. My guess is that I need to lower the latch itself at this point?
No, raise the rubber stops, if you move the latch it will then not align in the middle

Do you have a recommendation for hood pins?
Screw down or post with retainer pin?
Any installation issues?
I bought these, https://www.cjponyparts.com/shelby-black-billet-hood-pin-kit-2005-2009/p/HDPK7/

The installation was pretty straightforward, however I'm a licensed autobody repairman and I've done this before. Even though it technically isn't for a 2024 S650 the install was the same, you just need to pick a location for the brackets and use a marker like toothpaste on the top of the installed pins to mark the drill holes at the bottom of the aluminum hood.

Pictures in a bit...

Aren't those cables going to slap around and scratch the paint?

I adjusted the stops which helped on mine. It still wobbles little on bumpy roads, but at least there's a warning light if it slips onto the safety catch.

Nope, so far nothing hurting the paint.. I don't know why everyone asks this... I had them stock on a 73 Road Runner and never an issue with paint in the 8 years I had it...
I had them on my 89 IROC for years with zero paint issues, too.

@rdgdawg ..... yes the hoods on all three of my Mustangs flexed - starting at 50 mph. Be careful when adjusting the hood stops as you can cause more harm than good if not careful.
