Front grille design glitch

So initially I thought it was an glow from the flash on the grille when taking a photoshoot.
But now I'm pretty sure, there're holes in the grille, that causes that

Hopefully they will take care of that in a production version.

Most likely it's just a little touch to make the grille in the showcars stand out more and won't be a thing on the final car

From what I understand that is Fords unique way of supposedly getting around some more dumbass Government mandates. Don't have the info at hand but I know I remember seeing it in the media somewhere.
