Keeping an eye on this! I was also interested in the GT Grille kit, seems like its the only grille upgrade out for now, outside of this Dark Horse bumper/fascia conversion kit (https://autoaddictusa.com/products/pre-order-2024-ford-mustang-dark-horse-conversion-bumper-full-kit) , although I'm not sure if thats too up-badgey, plus I have no idea about the source and the long wait on the pre-order makes me hesitant.
I say that as well not trying to dh clone my gt. Might want to check ebay at some point for an actual gt hood. Would the gt corner grilles not fit the eb front bumper? I am not sure if they are totaly different or just stripped down. I'm I dont mind taking styling queues from other trims but i definitely dont want to fake up badge it. I have the dh ebay spoiler not trying to make a dork horse edition.

Yeah I honestly really like the RTR grille, but messing with the light electrical tap in for the running lights didn't really seem like something I wanted to do. I heard some comments in the other threads that they were updating that design, wasn't sure if there was an official source. I really just want the nose vents, it helps break up the front design a bit.
Suposedly the newer ones have a harness that piggybacks into the factory running light harness with a clip.

I think the GT grille has little cut outs by where the nose vents kinda snug into place that isnt present on the Ecoboost. I'm hoping more aftermarket comes available for hoods/grilles, I'd love even just a partially functional port on the hood, but the only replacements I've seen are the Andersen Composites ones, and I dont want to drop that much on carbon fiber and paint.

And agreed on the styling notes. I really love the look of the DH front end, but you really can't match that without it looking a little up-badgy. But I don't know, as long as I'm not throwing DH badges all over, might not be the worst.

True about the dh front. Guess its not much different then the gt 500 front ends. I didnt know there was that much of a difference in the bumpers. The area for the gt hood cut out is there just not cut on the eb. A good shop should be able to do something with it.

I've never been one to worry about cloning; as long as one does not UP BADGE and put Snakes on a GT, or a DH on an EB, that kinda thing.

My 2021 GT Premium (for sale incidently) has GT500 hood and spoiler as well as custom front car grille and brings it closer to a GT500 than a GT Premium. Of course, I also have a Supercharger under the hood so there is some bite to the bark. However, at NO time would I ever allow anything but the GT badge on the back and the 5.0 on the side!

Besides, it can add to the mystique and surprise when peeps get don't end up gapping you like they thought they would "Just another GT with a body kid, lame ass old man with more grey in his beard than sense in his head".

I don't believe its that much of a difference, not something someone with a lot more bravery than myself would be able to probably workshop in a day. But I'm trying to avoid permanent modifications to body panels and stuff, rather buy something complete than mess with what I have and screw it up.

But yes, the EB does have the spot where the Vent would be, just covered up by a different top sheet hood panel, which is a little annoying they couldn't just put one in. They've done it in the past with the S550s I believe.

I feel that about jacking up the factory parts. They should have atleast left the vent even a different one on the hood. Kind of a dick manuver on fords part.

Well said. I want a dh style rear valence as i think it loks better and has function. Hopefully the aftermarket gets its ass in gear

Hood vent installed on ecoboost, for anyone wondering, it’s about 12” from the front of the hood to start of the hood vent.

Her are various angles with grille, hood vent and splitter on a Ecoboost.

GT vs my ecoboost, pretty close expect corner grills

Nice way better. I don't agree with fords decision on this model year, all the previous gens had the same hood for the most part save the Shelby's or specialty editions.

Looks really good!! I was wondering your opinion on the hood vents and the corner air intake add ons.

For the hood vents, do you feel that it's flush enough that it doesn't immediately stand out as just a stick on? I noticed the other day that the GT version is a bit more flush inward, which it obviously can do since it has an actual hole. But I think the stick on version looks like a good compromise and flows really well, just wanted to gauge how you felt about it.

And for the corner air intakes for the grille, do you think it gets a little lost in the darkness of the grille? Or is it just the photos not doing it justice. Something I noted with the other photos of it posted in the thread is that it looks either thinner than it's GT counterpart, or the color blends in really well with the shadows caused by the hood. In your day to day with the sun shining, is it something you can identify as being there?

Sorry for this long ramble, hopefully my comments make sense!

Hood vent:
I would say it looks good, but no way flush enough that it would disappear, but it has grown on me since then, RTR one also protrudes from the hood quite a bit. In my post I have also shared a photo from driver side (standing) you can see it is definitely not flush at all.

Does it look bad? Not at all, I showed it to few common folks (who are not into cars, unlike us) and they thought it was looking good. You can see this poking when you drive on the hood.

kinda like this

____——____

not too much, but a little bit, but IMO it looks muscular lol from inside when I drive.

for $100 I am not complaining, quality is quite good, no paint imperfections and if you measure twice before sticking, it would look good, it may standout a bit for us (cause we know it’s a stickon maybe?) but for normal everyday joe, they would even think about it.

for the corner grills, the photos are dark because I took it on a cloudy day at evening. I have a iPhone 14 pro, but I think HDR was not on. It looks much different in person. Let me try taking a photo when the sun is out, but it looks very similar to GT.
