I know it might be as simple as following the crappy instructions with poor graphics, but its worth a shot asking:

Does anybody have any step by step instructions with good pictures on how to put this on? Or any gotchas you might have experienced?

Couple of Pieces of advice:
  1. Two person job to keep the ends pulled away from the car as you work your way from the center out. Once that tape sticks, ITS STUCK. So if as in the instructions you pull an inch or two at the centers and the ends keep it away from the car until you are ready to stick it.
  2. When you pre-fit / dry-fit, mark the center-line on your car and the splitter so that you can make an exact placement when you have adhesive and tape exposed.
  3. When you're pulling the tape backing, make sure to keep the splitter firm up against the bumper facia or it will create a gap once the tape sticks.
  4. I clamped the ends with a pair of pinch clamps to make sure that the adhesive dried in tightly
Here's some before/afters of my splitter: https://www.mustang7g.com/forums/threads/front-chin-spoiler.161289/post-3284864

Didn't take any of the process, sorry, but the instructions provided above are pretty comprehesive
