I love roundabouts, but why some drivers cannot figure them out, I do not know. Almost always females.

No such issues here in Europe, perhaps we have less misogynists here?

2024 GT premium with 401a. The pre-collision works very well in my car. I had a car pull in front of me on the highway from the acceleration lane at a very slow speed. I was pleasantly surprised how fast it detected it and how hard it braked. I really wish that people who can't handle a highway would keep off them. I am over 70 and I fully support road tests for older drivers even if it means me.

Depending on your region and insurance company, they'll use disabled systems to "assist" them process and claim.

Therefore, I plan to only crash on a day when I leave everything in noob mode.

Well it isn't all crap

BLIS is genuinely useful

Parking assist is useful

Brake assist has value

Auto high beam is useful

Adaptive cruise is excellent

I went to the Mustang unleashed program at the Ford racing school. One of the exercises was to just drive and don't touch the brake as you are going to run into a blow up car. It was really difficult not to touch the brakes, but it did stop me every time..I think we did it all the way up to 50 mph. If you have time you should check out the free class.

A few years ago they made it a legal requirement to indicate your intentions at roundabouts. You would not believe the number of people who said it's not possible to indicate and steer at the same time.
I did see a young guy do a magnificent double drift through a roundabout a few years ago. Normally I don't approve of that kind of thing, but this was so perfectly judged I had to admire it.
