In summary: when remote starting press brake pedal before pressing start button in the car.

does this also resolve the error when starting with an obstruction detected too close at startup? It has been reported some have received the message when not using remote start but too close to another object upon startup.

Interesting, mine only does it when I start it with the car cover on. Figured it block the sensor.
