I got my Dark Horse slightly above sticker pricing. All I had to do was say no and start walking out of the showroom, and I was quickly followed with the deal. I told them what I would pay and they took it.
Wow, you really showed them.

Have we reached maximum density for whining and crying yet?

Apparently not ...
Same story over and over here... Non s650 owners whining while s650 owners are wanting to learn about their cars lol

People aren’t allowed to give criticism? Lol. I can see both sides on it
If the criticism is warranted that's fine, but if someone's pricing out a Corvette that's going to be $200k-300k after markups, they're not in the market for a $45k s650. It's just a post from someone who is never going to buy the s650 just to complain.

Yes, the GT is $45k, a little high, but the post is about a $200k-300k Corvette, on an s650 forum.

For perspective, $45K is the going rate for a decent Honda Pilot and base Nissan Z. A base Ford Explorer is $40K. Are they all higher than in 2015? Yep. But, that's where the (middle class car) market is now.

I know, I get it, and I know it's inflation. I'm not complaining about the price. I love my gt. I'm saying everyday it's just non s650 owners who have no plans to ever buy one coming on here to just post negatively about it.

Obviously GM and Dodge couldn't make any money on theirs and they gave up. Ford is trying to make it work and yet, people whine.

Don't like it, you don't have to get one. But don't ruin the forum for the users that do have one.

Paint quality is horrible. My old Honda had better paint than my 2024 GT.
My DH paint is great! Sorry you got a POS.

Next time, do some due diligence before taking delivery.

I figured maybe we'd see the next GT500/Cobra/whatever it will be unveiled. A GTD variant, while cool, is meh for most of us.

I totally agreed. Price are getting way too high.

Here is a comparison in CAD vs US price
CADUS
Ecoboost$40,675.00$31,920.00
Ecoboost Premium$46,875.00$37,445.00
GT Fastback$54,675.00$42,860.00
GT Fastback Premium$60,575.00$47,380.00
Dark House$81,375.00$60,635.00
Dark House Premium$86,410.00$64,630.00
My Mustang bought in 02/2024
Ecoboost Premium$43,330.00

These price are the base model and with no optional equipment. So in Canada if you want a DH fully loaded you will pay $94,400.

Even my ecoboost went up $3,545 and the option I got are not even available anymore.

Buying a Mustang today seem more like the prestige of the name vs the price and quality. A little bit like the Harley a decade ago.

Ford could bring down their prices they would probably sell more since they would be giving a chance to more people being able to buy 1.
I agree. Ford also sucks at discounts. I had A/Z Plan and my Mustang GT cost me 10k less than my Hellcat, and even the DH I was considering when I got my GT was more expensive than my Hellcat.

That said I got almost 20k off sticker on my Hellcat, but Dodge has always been great at giving big discounts. That's without me having any family/friends plan with Dodge, too. Even when I had my Scat Pack in 2019 I got 7k off sticker with no family/friends deal. A/Z plan got me 6k off my GT.

Granted the DH and Hellcat are two different weapons - one is a track monster, the other is basically a street legal drag car - but still. 217 more hp on the Hellcat than the DH and I got it for a couple grand less.
