Well ... it made 3rwhp LESS after break in ... but made 13rwhp more then the GT

Really good educational video

DH put down 405rwhp
S550 GT put down 377
MACH 1 put down 409

All 10A cars

And the S650 GT made 393 rwhp on the dyno the same day the Dark Horse made 405. Given the DH is rated 14 higher than the GT, the dyno showing 12 over the GT is right in line with what would be expected.

Yep agree... and the fact the S550 GT put down 377 shows the s650 GT made a nice gain over the S550 GT.

These dynos shift around more than my ex’s attitude

Any chance you could run a GT or DH on the same day and time as an S550 GT or M1? As opposed to pulling past comparisons

If the results show the same deltas then Ford done goofed

Thanks for the continued content and info 🙏

I really don't understand why you guys are obsessed with dynos since they are all different. Why don't you get a

S550 GT
S550 Mach 1
S650 GT
S650 DH

and do multiple tests such as rolling starts, drag strips, curcuit times, breaking test etc. instead of these dynos et voilá: We will see what has changed to the better or worse.

DH (500 HP) put down 405 rwhp
Mach 1 (480 HP) put down 409 rwhp

So which is it, did Ford down rate the Mach 1 or uprate the DH?

This is not valid because the correction factor is the same, it seems like it's 1.01 for all the pulls, but the conditions have changed...

I wish more dynos would post the correction factor as well as conditions (Humidity, air intake temperature, and barometric pressure). Even dynos on the SAME DAY can vary just based on these conditions. The correction factor needs to change based on these conditions.

Then there's the argument of proper air intake, that small intake fan near the grill with the hood open is definitely not simulating a pull in the real world and is more susceptible to heat soak (timing pulled due to hot IATs)
