Had a 2021 Mach 1, still regret letting it go. With how many Mach 1 owners insisted on making the car theirs's (tune, whipple, headers, exhaust, suspension mods, cosmetic mods, etc), it is damn near impossible to find a stock, unmolested Mach 1.
Love the sound of the GT350 at full song. Great...
Back in the day there was GT350 Track Attack, GT500 Track Attack, Mach 1 Track Attack, DH Track Attack, Explorer St Experience.... No more. Ford Performance Racing School in Charlotte, NC is now Wheelhouse Racing. Had so much fun at the Mach 1 Track Attack, was looking forward to the 2026...
This is with only -2.4 degrees camber at speed around the almost 180 deg turn 10 - 11 at Club Motorsports. No abnormal tire wear at all. And yes, once we reached the main straight, the Dodge Viper with all that aero behind me passed me like I was standing still. 😂🤣😂
The caster/camber gauge is always spot on. I primarily use the Toe Plates to verify the toe alignment after adjusting camber between street and track settings while the car is sitting at rest.
For actually setting the toe, I would use the string method. Much more involved but I could set...
Instructions they came with, along with various You Tube videos, will guide you through the process.
One big thing to remember is to set the camber first, then set the toe. On both the S550 and S650 a change in camber will impact the toe setting. Stock camber results in stock toe setting...
When I still had my 2021 Mach 1, I had brought it to two dealerships as well as an independent shop to try to get the alignment specs I wanted. Dealerships had no clue how to adjust camber, while the independent shop wanted to use offset camber bolts. Yea, nope!
Ended up purchasing a Longacre...
Had a 2023 F-150 Powerboost, and yes it can easily power job sites, camping, RVs. House not so much. If your house is wired with a switch box for an external portable generator, then NO it will not power your house. Use it to run extension cords all over the place, sure. What Ford does not tell...
Correct. OEM pads on the Mach 1 and Dark Horse, both regular and HP, are Ferodo 2500's. Lots of dust but are a terrific "beginner" pad on the track.
Edit: Ferodo DS2500
It's so easy... the 0.01% of Mustang owners that want to "tune" their cars = nobody cares to put forth the effort to crack the new ECU. As if 500 hp is not enough to get your license suspended, lets go so much more. And void your warranty while you are at it.
For those that don't care about a...
Some folks I tracked with that run HPDE with GTs with PP consistently run into diff overheating in less than 15 min if the temp is above low 80's, even with exhaust wrap. And that is after they have upgraded the wheels, tires, camber plates, aero, etc.
The Mach 1 and Dark Horse already have the...
If you track your car (i.e. HPDE, road courses) then go with the DH with HP. All the track focused parts are well worth it and less expensive than adding them all in later. I wanted to save a few dollars when I bought my 21 Mach 1 and did not get the handling package in order to save $4000...
The F-150 Powerboost has the electric motor in the 10R80
If it might be close to 621 hp / 627 lb-ft torque, then you're looking at 2025 Audi RS7 (4-door sedan) pricing which starts at $130k. 😲
Wait for the 2026 model year. 2026 Dark Horse (or whatever it is called) with handling package. With options, more than likely over $100K 😂
Just did a build and price on a loaded 2025 Dark Horse... $ 96,930. Only a $3,070 price increase and you have your $100K (non-Shelby) Mustang from the...
