One is just for the drift brake. Can’t believe I just noticed today on my performance pack that there is dual rear calipers.
Very cool but feel stupid for not noticing.
never knew dual calipers existed
Drift brake. You know, for all the drifting Mustang owners do. Tokyo style. The smaller one is the parking brake.
Yep, the brembos are dedicated to stopping the car!that makes more sense…wow can’t believe it’s dedicated
You do realize how funny that sounds right?Yep, the brembos are dedicated to stopping the car!
Was waiting for somebody to catch onto that. You do realize how funny that sounds right?
Yes only with PP as the rear brembos have no built in park brake hardware as most cars with rear disc brakes do.Was waiting for somebody to catch onto that.
just never seen a dedicated parking brake before. I wonder-does that only come with the Performance pack?
having the tires swapped today got to see how beefy the discs are….just wish they were a 2 piece with brake hat. But the stock wheels completely hide the centre ring that always rusts on brakes so I can live with that. A 2 piece set for front and rear is $2300 Canadian. That’s insanely over-priced
Because It's not a parking brake, it's a drift brake. Non PP GTs use the rear single caliper for parking.just never seen a dedicated parking brake before. I wonder-does that only come with the Performance pack?
I could be wrong... but I believe the drift brake setting controls the actual brembo rear brakes (as line lock does the fronts) as I think the park brake is only off or on (electric not hydraulic).Because It's not a parking brake, it's a drift brake.
No, the drift brake is separate from the Bembos.I could be wrong... but I believe the drift brake setting controls the actual brembo rear brakes (as line lock does the fronts) as I think the park brake is only off or on (electric not hydraulic).
