Before people go nuts, that's just a ZL1 bumper on an SS, and yes, that has a 10-speed, and yes, the DH came with a 6MT. They wanted the 6MT so they could pit it against the Emira, M2, and Supra with 6MTs.

The DH times are no better than the GT. That 14hp is eaten up with the heavier brakes, wheels and tires.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I love the way the M2 looks. Much better in person.

Looks like if you want the 1/4 mile winner in stock form, you need to go with this… at least in the 2 door coupe, front engine RWD $60K range.

While I haven't tried a GT, I suspect you are correct. The handling package options for the GT are included as standard feature on the Dark Horse. Unless you're comparing a GT with the handling package to a Dark Horse, I would expect differences. It's probably the MagneRide but I find my car a bit floaty with gentle waves in the pavement but when you throw it around a corner, it's rock solid. It makes a comfortable ride on freeway but should be well behaved on the track.

Not with the new M2, there is near universal agreement that thing looks dreadful. Only people that disagree are those paid by BMW or have eyesight like Stevie Wonder.

Yeah the car likes to go around corners and enjoys every min of it especially if you have the HP.
