Does anyone know if fuel cutoff occurs at 7,200 RPM in every drive mode in the 5.0 with a manual transmission?

I didn't see anything in the owner's manual about this. I figured I would ask before punishing the car in that manner to find out. This is all I could find in the owner's manual about drag mode but it isn't specifc as far as RPM goes. I know if cuts fuel at 7,200 RPM in track mode. I haven't tried it in drag mode yet.

the 7250rpm fuel cutoff happens in all drive modes and is exclusive to the manual transmission

Well I will say Drag Mode throttle response is quite impressive anyways. This is the first time I have used it and I have driven in track and sport a lot at this point. I'm not sure there is any way to win with this fuel cut off until tuning is released. I'm noticing a lot of videos of the A10 short shifting before redline as well. Not sure how finicky the A10 is about it as I have a manual. Just something I have noticed in several videos where a S650 with the A10 is flooring it.

Do we know why it cuts off at 7250 instead of 7500 for the M6? What is the cutoff for the A10?
no clue why. the A10 can go the whole 7500

Maybe not broken in yet, A10 does short shift slightly. In M mode the rev limiter chokes you. What happened to the owners choice or ignorance to ruin an engine?

Worse to me is the throttle response, in any mode, is horrid. I don't want to but a device, anyone know if at some point, might be able to tune for a better response?

Have you tried drag mode? I feel like it has the best throttle response after only using track and sport for several months.

I haven't much as I read it was programmed to reduce tire spin. I'll give it a run for awhile, though from what others here have mentioned, the lag is due to electronic throttle by wire, my last GT was an 88, when you hit the pedal, instant response.

Someone mentioned a device, "Pedal commander" looked on YouTube GT's using it. That thing would do it though don't like the idea of adding a device, rather it be programmed direct.

If the mountain won’t come to you, go to the mountain. Cheaper (edit: lower octane) fuel, quicker ignition lol. Now seriously, is there a lag in the display that may account for the perceived difference v m/a

In other words, does 7500 rpm - 7250 rpm = 500 ms ?

Probably because some people will still expect Ford to repair it under warranty despite thier choice or ignorance.
