It’s tracker was posted it was marked as built on the 12th
That is an insane time frame. Granted that dealer is a few hours from FRAP. It was a very early order. Ford was in a hurry to get that one out the door. LOL

My dealer has a GT Prem coming that was built 8/12 and shipped 8/14. Was ordered on 4/13.
ETA 8/14 TO 8/24. Looks like that will be their first 2024.

It is not on the GT.
Actually it is, starting with builds in 2024. Both the Auto's and Manual's have it. My GT 6-Speed has it. So far it has never engaged. I also use a custom profile where it is set to disable S/S. After I start the car I push the mode button twice to switch to that profile. Also Sport and Track mode will disable it.

My car was built middle of January 2024 and I think it was a Job #2 car, but thankfully no start/stop. I think they had a parts supply problem at the time. My wife's 2024 VW Atlas has it and I hate it. In the Atlas if you creep up to a stop light, it will not activate. It's also easily turned off a permanent solution does not exist yet. It's the dumbest thing I have seen the EPA do and they have an entire encyclopedia full of dumb things they have done over the years.

Same here, run my custom setting and disables it. I did try to get it to work last week since I have a 6 speed and was just more or so interested if the owners manual is correct to when it activates. Needless to say, it didn't work.

Strange. One of the GTs I test drove had it. And I know it had auto start/stop because I got startled the moment the engine turned off by itself. Fortunately it can be turned off, but I'm not sure if it can be turned off permanently.

It is on the GT, just that the earliest GTs didn't get it.

You can turn it of permanently by purchasing and installing an override. Another forum member is selling one here on the forums because his family bought him two.

Eventually, you'll be able to disable it with FORScan. That change makes the vehicle think there is constant steering input, which keeps it from shutting down even at a full stop and no actual steering input.

As you implying the epa emission reduction efforts can be bypassed simply by a wiggle of the wheel?
