Hi,

I have an EU Mustang, which means we get a strange chime every time:

  • We overspeed (even by just 1 km/h)
  • Our hands aren’t on the wheel

You can disable these warnings, but they reset every time the ignition is restarted. The "hands on the wheel" alert is even more problematic, as you have to completely disable Lane Assist. However, the "hands on the wheel" alert is pretty useless—it still pops up even when my hands are on the wheel. If I want Lane Assist to work, I have to "jiggle the wheel," which is not only inconvenient but also potentially more dangerous, especially on the highway.

I don't have a solution yet, but maybe someone has some ideas on how to disable these features? I successfully enabled the tolerance menu for the speed limit (7D0-09-04), but it didn’t help. Even with the tolerance set to 10 km/h, the warning chime still sounds whenever I'm 1 km/h over the limit.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas on how to disable the alert? I found a setting called "TSR NCAP Adaptions" that I’d like to try next. As for the "hands on the wheel" issue, I didn’t find any related settings, only options to permanently disable Lane Assist, which I don’t want.

Thanks!

Best regards,
Sebastian

Nope, I just turn it all off, Its that annoying, and your right it goes off even when your holding the wheel, hopefully there is an update coming to drop off the hands on wheel alarm soon, as the rest is good and wanted.
I've had it alarm on me when changing gear FFS.

No solutions so far (to the point that disabling the speed limit and LA is part of my starting procedure). I've suggested to you about that "720-02-01", it's set to "B" for EU cars, did you tried to set it to "7", it's the same features but with chime disabled. I didn't tried it yet.

Try disable SLOIF and enable SLIF instead.
My US Mustang has SLIF and I checked on the EU Mustangs and they have SLOIF.
European Mustangs have stricter settings. I compared this between my asbuilt and @Fruitstang asbuilt.

This should disable the overspeed warning.

720-09-01xxxxxxxx*x--
Change this to 9

706-01-01xx*xxxxxxx--
Change this to 5

This is not tested out yet, so let me know if it worked.

The lane keeping assist in my 24 GT Conv is useless. On strait cruise control everything is great. When I enable lane keeping assist the car on cruise control on the highway frequently suddenly slows down over 10MPH with a the of engine sputtering like crazy but after a few seconds it recovers. This not isolated it is every mile or two. I also have a 2019 and 2022 Ford and lane keeping assist works quite well. Ford knows how to do it they just decided not to.

I'd also be interested in a setting to remove the overspeed warning, it's set to go off at 120km/h on every car I've driven here but highways vary at 100, 120, 140 and 160 km/h, so it's totally irrelevant (and annoying).

I just double tap the lane assist button on the wheel every start, and I've set up a profile in custom mode that kills Auto S/S.
It's just two buttons close together which isn't a chore. Can't you do that on yours?
