Yesterday was delivery day and I picked up my first ever Mustang! I ordered 1/5/24 and picked up on 3/23/24. This is my first Mustang and first manual vehicle so I have some adjusting to do, but I love it! I asked the dealer not to remove the factory stickers and to not wash it. My salesman had no issue with this and that is how I took delivery. After inspecting the car, I have only come across two issues. The front splitter does have minor scrape damage underneath I assume from loading/unloading from transport. I am on the fence about this one, I plan to install a more aggressive front splitter so I am not too bent out of shape about it. The only other issue I saw was a small paint chip in the wheel well where the bumper meets the fender. To me, not worth saying anything and I will fix with touch up paint. It was windy yesterday and I did notice the hood seemed to move quite a bit when driving home. I am curious to find out if it is always like that. Window tint is scheduled for Wednesday this week and then I will begin the paint correction and ceramic coating process.

I work at a Ford dealer and I watched mine being unloaded form the transport, I drove it to PDI and hovered over the tech while he did it and saved every sticker and scrap of paper that was in it. I drove it to cleanup, where I tipped the makeready tech to do a good job by hand, and I drove it to the delivery area when it was done.
I've had many classic cars over the years, and the original paperwork and other docs adds big $$ to the value. I know this is a nass produced, mid level car, but who knows? Due to my age and future circumstances, I'll be keeping this one til I can't climb in and out of it anymore.

Good question haha. This dealer sells a lot of Mustangs so my hope was if I ordered with them it would arrive quickly. Not sure if it was a coincidence or that is actually true, but I am happy to have it in time for nice weather.

That is nice to have that control. I too saved everything from factory for own records.

Looking good... the hood can be adjusted easily, I had the same, adjusting the hood stop pads took care of it. Mine was delivered in two and half months as well.

When my 2015 F150 was built, I followed it all the way through trim, chassis, and final. Took tons of pics and some videos. When I sold it, I put them all on a DVD and stuck it inside the glovebox with a note. I hope the next owner appreciated that ... 😉
