Thanks. I had another look and mine definitely doesn't have it. Maybe it came with the premium. For now I just have a wire dangling down to the USB port. But once the warranty is up I plan to run it through the headliner down the A pillar and plug it into the OBD2 port. That's what I did with my daily driver Mazda and my wife's Escape. It's pretty clean that way.
That's what I've done. Why would it affect warranty?
Sorry, just reread you post. I ran mine to the lighter plug. But the OBD port shouldn't be a problem should it?
An advantage with the lighter plug is that it's powered on for some time after switch off and gives some parked surveillance.

It probably wouldn't affect warranty but you never know, plus they might have to plug into it at some point. The OBD2 cable has a switch on it for two choices. You can keep it powered 24hours for the g sensor, motion sensor etc. Or you flip the switch and it keeps the camera powered for 20 minutes after the car is turned off and then shuts down. I like it because you just have to get the cable to the side and not back to the middle. It goes in the headliner (easy), then in top seam of the A pillar cover (removal not needed), and then down the channel underneath the door seal. It's pretty clean in my Mazda.

I only use the Front cam only. Not sure how I'd mount the rear camera. Most certainly will not on the window with the tint on it.

Not sure where else to mount it.
