I replaced my first dash cam, after being asked by a fellow in a parking lot, which "brand" of dash cam I had installed. After talking with him, I think he was "interested" in a camera and mine caught his "attention", stuck on the windshield.

I have a Blackvue Elite 10, front and back. I am using the OEM power source cable. Works great. I have the front mounted right under the mirror, the back dead center on the top of the rear glass.

I run a garmin x310 wired to the usb port behind the rear view mirror. Runs great and have had zero issues over the last year. I highly recommend it.

Front and rear with 4k front 1080 rear. Did you order any of the filtering lenses?

I've just replaced a 70mai A800S in the Mustang with a 70Mai M310, both 4K. The M310 doesn't have a screen so is easier to mount without blocking vision.
Both seem to have excellent image quality.

No. It only records while the car is running. But I believe you can hardwire it so it records all the time. But the drain on the battery and hacking wires does not appeal to me.

Would you mind taking a picture of the power port by the mirror? I looked and couldn't see one on my car. I'm not sure if my car doesn't have one or I'm missing it in my dark garage. Base 2026 GT.
