I know I've seen that kind of hub before... Does that indicate 2-piece rotors? That a Dark Horse specific thing?
only the Dark Horse has 2-piece front rotors

The front rotors look like 2 piece, which are on the current Mach 1.
the M1's front rotors are 1 piece, just like the GT Performance Pack

I was misinformed then, and glad the DH got 2 piece front rotors.

straight out'a Compton, er GT350. I'll bet you anything the calipers are also GT350 parts. And the knuckles.
i don't think the calipers are GT350 parts, the spec sheet Ford released says 6 36mm pistons, where the GT350 had 34/36/38mm pistons IIRC

I still don't love the plastic bits around the headlights, but looks good otherwise.

Also, excuse my ignorance, but is it just me or do the hubs look different on this car than I've seen on any 6th gen 'Stang? I know I've seen that kind of hub before... Does that indicate 2-piece rotors? That a Dark Horse specific thing?
Rotors fixed to aluminum hats via pins like the GT350

Ford Tech writers have been so wrong on so many things, I wouldn't wipe my ass with their publications. :) not this early at least.
that's fair, can't blame you

I'm glad it doesn't have the silly cross-drilled rotors like on the GT350, too... though I wouldn't mind slotted.
Cross drilled rotors look cool though 😂 but yeah, not necessary if they’re slotted

I like to disassemble things.
Good to see a two-piece rotor being supplied from SHW again. My sense is that those calipers are a radial mount and if so Ford might be using either a '20 GT350R knuckle or a '20-'22 GT500 knuckle or all new, depending on rotor diameter/caliper size. Huge win if the caliper is a radial mount.

Why would you compare a Mercedes dashboard to the S650? Plus, the dashboards in the Mercedes are also not integrated but just " placed". I have been in a S class recently which has the same interior.

I don't like the DH front with those plastic elements around headlights. I have seen the white GT and the front looks more "fresh" and aggressive than this one tbh. Take some element from the DH in the GT (tinted headlights, dark elements instead of the crome in the interior) and the bigger exchausts, and I am ready to order baaabaaayy

I don't know either. Lazy design loves company lest they get laughed out of the kiddie play pen? Maybe Ford thinks that since Mercedes couldn't be arsed to finish the job it's "edgy, clean, bold" that they can ride those same coattails with their similar effort?

That ass! Nobody will confuse this rear with a Gen 6. The differences really pop here in this lighting

They pop alright. For some reason I seem to like the GT better.

IIRC, it was 3d printed titanium
sounds really cool until you park in the sun one day and have to shift with oven mitts on
Except Ford already thought about that, it has a special design on the bottom of the knob to dissipate heat so you dont need an oven mitt.
