It's just a Mustang tuner that holds the right to call their tuning versions 'Shelby'. They do not develop any engines or even cars.

Wrong. The successor to the GT500 will have the 'new' Legend engine which is, as of now, a slightly modified Predator engine that was used in the GT500.
