unfortunately, I don’t think you’ll get any real answers until you take the car in for service.
It’s generally not the best to drive a car for long in limp mode, but it really depends on what the underlying issue was.
don’t get too preoccupied what “what ifs” when it comes to taking your car in to get checked out. Just taker hee in snd see what’s going on.
if you’re lucky and you have a dealer with a car guy - a real mechanic who lets his knowledge updated, you may get all the answers to your questions and then some.
Until you have codes and a physical inspection, there are too many variables to know.
