We have the same noise on a brand new 2.3 Ecoboost 2024 Mustang and it starts around 20 mph. The noise is increasing while applying brake. We have realized it in 2 minutes after our first drive. Then we handed it over to a Ford authorized mechanic and it hasn`t been fixed yet, it it has been more than 60 days. It feels terrible to experience this

Update:
It's been 6 months since the dealer applied grease to the output flange and splines.
I currently have 6500 miles on the car and it's running great. The popping/clunking noise has not returned.

As a dealership employee, that is enough to bring a tear to my eye. THAT is proper dcoumentation and how to get paid from the manufacturer.

The dealership before this actually kept my car for a week, told me I had aftermarket suspension and also said they can't figure out what's wrong with it and to top it off they said their mechanics weren't experienced enough to fix the problem. I asked them. Isn't there a procedure, they told me just to go get my car they're not willing to work on it ... I had to go to the back where the cage doors and grab my own car. . . You made me so mad. I wanted to just go back to Toyota but I found Liberty Ford NC and they did a great job. Also, the foreman for the shop owns a dark horse! He treated it like it was his own

Maybe I have this too... clunking/small knock when decelerating gently to a stop, right before full-stop. Also coincided with a new jerk/clunk when shifting between R and D (10R80). Seems to be driveline issue rather than wheels/suspension.

I have the same scrap in front left ring and scratching noise from time to time + rattling from same side with turning, any updates?

Having mine serviced right now for this. Will update when I hear from them. Hope they will do this fix. If they dont i will show them this.

I forgot to ask you did you hear scratching comes from that side? Regards to the scratching marks on your ring?
