After hearing the news on the Chargers...yeah, they need to get their stuff together.
I'm convinced whoever greenlit the new generation of charger was intentionally trying to sink the company, or atleast the model. It doesn't make sense from any angle, and I cannot think of a single person that thought it was a good idea, nor anyone that was interested in it.

Some people just want to see the world burn in a Li-Ion fire, hahah.

It's BIG, it's HEAVY, it needs a much longer range and it also needs to get the software coordination down from some of the videos I have seen.

One of the big issues I am seeing with battery and hybrid cars is that they don't seem to be accounting for the weight changes when looking at braking systems. The suspension also seems to be struggling to handle these heavier vehicles, resulting in poorer road feel and handling.

Remember when 3400 lbs was considered heavy?

The only upside to the EV's weight is that atleast it comes with a much lower center of gravity. Not that it even matters imo, its still a heavy lump

and yet, one of the biggest complaints I have seen on some of the newer generation of cars (such as the latest M5) is that because they are hybrid systems, they don't gain that lower center of gravity that a pure electric would. I know that when I was test driving cars earlier this year, this was something I was noticing. The Hybrid and EV vehicles are much heavier than their ICE counterparts. While they are absolute MONSTERS in a straight line and you will very quickly run out of speed limit, getting them to change directions at rapid speeds is a lot more challenging.

Yeah, the hybrids lose that center of gravity advantage. They just inherit all the weight, hahah.
