Maybe a stupid question, sorry: if I were to buy the J&L for example, there's only one model. Does it not need different hoses for the different sides?

Looking at the picture of the official Ford kit, they look different, as do the brackets...
They are different. The J&L only goes to the passenger side which is all you need. The Ford kit goes to both sides which you don't need. I have a J&L, it works, so I'm biased. It's also easy to install.

I bought J&L but noticed it touches the hood liner when i close the hood. I'm returning it, and buying UPR instead. I couldn't justify the 3x cost of FP kit.

I have a question for you guys. Is the UPR setup the same for N/A and supercharged applications. Car is stock now but it will be getting supercharged in the near future. I did reach out to Lethal over 2 weeks ago on their site and DM here a couple days ago with no answers. I just don't want to spend money twice if i don't have to. Thanks in advance

It looks like they have 3 different products, NA, Roush, Whipple

Granted, the differences are most likely just hose length/connector and mounting brackets.

Just wait until you're supercharged and buy the whipple one. Who cares if you have any oil in your intake at that point because you'll remove it when the supercharger is installed

Doesn't touch my hood liner, not even close.

Don’t know why. I placed a tiny claybar on top just to make sure, closed the hood opened again and it was squished.

Hard to tell from this angle, but is the top of the can higher than the radiator overflow container cap or the strut tower posts/studs?

Yes it is, about 1/2 to 3/4 inches higher than the radiator cap; that's what made me test for contact. I saw one guy on youtube complaining about the same issue I had.

J&L Catch Can with clay bar on top of catch can. No marks on clay bar or hood liner. Other poster has a 2024, I have a 2025 Mustang.

Thanks!

The parts for 2024 and 2025 are the same. Is there a difference in something to which it mounts between the two years?
