Can the S650 10R80 be tuned to skip more gears?

I totally get that! But if, say, you floor it at a traffic light and then let off the gas, and the car keeps revving like crazy, even a big guy would start to feel embarrassed…

watching this thread to see.. as i first drove the Mustang (mine auto) i thought it would rip ass... i had a bmw x3m and the Mustang always feels tamed low down in comparison.. than someone told me to put on sport or manual and let engine have little more revs.. The car feels more alive now, so i end up using a lot the paddles when i can. for daily use or in city the auto probably is a good choice but not that i had another, because the manual doesnt come here. anyway, i thing 10 are a little too much.. i much pefer the 8hp gearbox.

Not sure what you guys mean by this, double tapping the paddles will drop two gears, no? What do you mean by shift twice rather than shifting gears - what's the difference?
If you click just a bit too slow then it will literally shift before you get the second click in. It’s not nearly as fast as a dual clutch, but it’s still pretty darn quick.
