I'm curious about this as well. From what I've read it's a fantastic upgrade on the 6th gen cars.

I don't know the answer to that but if you can drift a car, you probably don't need a steeper ratio. When you race, the object is to keep the wheels glued to the ground as you get less grip when the wheels spin. Now if you want to drift the car, that could be a good upgrade.

Got the 3.73 PP.
Swapped out the 275/40 19s for 285/35 19 squared.

With the stock taller tires, effective ratio is 3.63

Effective ratio is now 3.74, it m feels nicer and picks up speeder easier.

I do wonder if 4.09 will break traction a lot though.

C’mon Ford. Let us at least be able to do a gear change, especially with this terribly long transmission gearing.

From what I have heard a gear change would require tuning. The power packs Ford sells for the S550 mention that they allow you to make gear changes. Not sure how Steeda made gear changes work in a S650 without tuning. Would love to know @SteedaTech

Yeah, I really want 4.09's in mine as well, I think it would really wake the car up, I used to run 4.55's in my old 05 mustang haha.
