The other day I got a folded pamphlet from this company and it appeared it was associated with Ford. I opened it it had my name, address, a bogus account number or claim pin, New Owner of 2026 Ford Mustang GT, with alot of other information LOOKING LIKE it came from Ford (like SIrrus) and was acting as agent for Ford. So I called and it stated they are waiving $388 registration fees for the car for the National Anti-Theft Tracking Center. Clearly stated it worked with Police and Law Enforcement Agencies if your car was stolen. Now I just retired from US Customs and Border Protect, and NEVER HEARD of this company. So I called and talked to a Customer Service Rep named Meggie, (Fake name), and she gave me the entire sales talk, and all it would cost me one time fee of $249.99 instead of the $388 and monthly fee. No monthly or renewal fee ever, for the entire life of the car. OK, researched the company as it did not mention its real name Carsmari, but did mention the more official looking Public Safety Center, of what this is a company is legit, but is NOT and OFFICIAL FORD or Law Enforcement association. So I did find out they only use a public version of the same National Database and law enforcement, but it NOT THE ENHANCED VERSION USED BY Local, State, or Federal Law Enforcement. They have a very limited access to National Crime Information Center (NCICS) which does have provide very limited access for such companies and insurance agencies. We at CBP being a Federal Law Enforcement Agency at DHS, us a very sensitive, enhanced system called TECS a very advanced system that was originianated from the Treasury Enforcement Communications Systems, although decommissioned by Treasury, when CBP transfered to DHS, kept the name (TECS) and enhanced its properties using IBIS (Interagency Border Inspection System) and other associated applications. So I am very familiar with many local, state and federal systems. I can tell you this, save your money, Ford has a better system and comes with your car. Your local and state police have better systems. I thanked them and said GOODBYE..... Just wanted to bring this to your attention, unless you want to blow your money, disregard this letter, has nothing to do with Ford, or Law Enforcement, just a company offering a service for a quick buck. I hope this helps you as I have been getting these offers in the mail and they are all bogus.

they just data mine every state DMV database for new registrations and send them out by the millions hoping someone is stupid enough to take the bait.

If my car is stolen I don't want it back.

I have been in the business too long and seen too many recovered thefts that have had tens of thousands of miles taken off the life of the mechanical parts in addition to any body or interior damage.

Where did this pamphlet come from? If it came in the mail it would have gone straight into the trash without hesitation at my house.

Same, we get a letter every week or 2 about needing a car warranty or some bull like that. Got one today, opened it up to look at it, saw what it was, then threw it away.

We also get the Car Warranty Expired Notice in the mail.
The only problem was I only had less than 2,000 miles on the GT.
I also purchased an extend warning and the maintenance plan.
I get 15 free oil changes or something like that. I just shred them.
They never stop coming, no matter what you own

Threw it away, look I just thought I would let you know about what I found out. Being retired Federal LEO I am really familiar with a lot of these companies, I am not saying you should not get this service, if it make you feel safer, I am just saying weigh the facts, not needed, but you feel you need it, then it is needed for you.

White trifold envelope that you open and inside is the letter of notification. Bottom left stats in BLOCK letter. FORD Natification on Stolen Car Tracking. No return address only states in small block letter in middle on left side National Anti-Theft Tracking Center, no address, You open the envelope and unfolds to the text that includes information I previously mentioned. That;s all i fan tell you regarding this letter. Nothing new from what I previously stated.
