These wheels were questionable before, but honestly I don't think they fit the S650 at all

I don't understand designing a clean rear deck and then putting that tiny lip spoiler on it. Either give it a proper spoiler or keep in clean.

I am not a spoiler guy. I love the clean look of the s550 and the beautiful 'lip' it inherited from '69/'70. The s650, however, NEEDS a spoiler. It is a must for that rear body style.

I hope those wheels were used only for test purposes. Just by the look at them, it makes me automatically think " Oh it is a '15 GT" lol

They’re not the same as the S550 PP wheels. There’s a cant that angles the spokes originating from the hub mount on a 5-point star pattern. The S550 PP wheels were remarkably basic with a flat surface and basic symmetry.

Regardless, it’s busier, not better. And that design has too many spokes to begin with.

Not so sure.....

Thanks for the images TT, fwiw, that perfectly illustrates the tiny differences. Where the spikes branch into “Ys,” it’s a flat and symmetrical transition on the S550. They’re twisted on the S650 example.

Look at the hub housing the bolts. They run flush with the spokes to the very base. The new ones have angled spikes that create a little valley around the lugs.

........by Ford Authroity.

Whilst these wheels are "new" to S650 and Ecoboost, these are the option "Nickle Luster" 19" Performance Pack wheels we've already seen on S550. I'm guessing (hoping) they're just placeholders.

Am I the only one that thinks the EB is much cleaner/better looking than the GT? Grill looks way better w/o the GT "fangs" as they are called, in my opinion.

I thought that it looked better at first, but I like the GT better. I would like the ecoboost to have the gloss black grille surround, not the brown/grey plastic.

I completely do agree with you... I love the way S550 looks without spoiler, but the lack of spoiler in S650 looks strange..... But for now, I don't like none of the spoilers showed
