So I decided to go with the Stampede wheels on our 24 GT performance pack car. It does have ford racing springs.
The wheels are 19x10 and 19x11.
I have 275/35R19 Pilot sport 4S on the front. Should I go with 305/35R19 Pilot super sport on the rear or 315/30R19 Pilot sport 4s on the rear?

Why do you guys always want to put shorter tires on the rear of the car than the front? Get the 305/35's
Presumably to match the overall wheel diameter:

275/35R19 = 26.6"
315/30R19 = 26.4"
305/35R19 = 27.4"

The 2-digit number indicates the tire's sidewall height as a percentage of its width:

275/35R19 = 3.79"
315/30R19 = 3.72"
305/35R19 = 4.20"

But to avoid issues with the speedo and cruise control I think you need to keep the difference from OEM below 3%, so probably want to go as close to the stock diameter as possible, so that would be the 305/35R19 (-1.1%). The 315/30R19 is -4.7%.

Original:

255/40R19 = 27.0"
275/40R19 = 27.7"

Edit: Calculated using https://tiresize.com/calculator/

The Dark Horse handling package car comes with slightly shorter tires on the rear than on the front. So there is that.

You can't tell looking at the car.

I have the latter (315) on my stock Dark Horse 19 x 11 now, so I would tell you to go with that.

But if I were buying 4 new wheels, I would go with 19 x 11 all the way around and probably 305/30R19 all the way around, too.

The PS4S 305 has a much wider tread than the original Dark Horse Pirelli Trofeo RS 305. The PS4S 305 actually has a wider tread than the Pirelli 315!

For what it is worth, Tire Rack says the 275/35 is 26.6, but it says the 315/30 is 26.5" - if Tire Rack is correct then we are taking about a tenth of an inch total, one half of a tenth of an inch on each side of the tire, basically impossible to detect with the naked eye.

I would definitely go 315/30R19. If the wheel backspacing is similar to the Dark Horse track package wheels, that tire will also fit on the rear with no issues (I have been using it since December).

From the stock OEM PP wheels though the 315 is a -4.7% change in overall diameter, could be problematic with cruise control based on other 7g threads on the topic. 315/30R19 is the size of the DH OEM wheels, so surely there's a way to program the new wheel size using FORScan.

So they dont make the 4s in a 305/35R19. Discount instead ordered that size in the Super Sport instead. My 275/35R19 on the front are brand new. So it looks like 315/30R19 in the 4s is the better choice considering the 4s is the superior tire from everything ive read. They are ordering them for me and keeping the Super sport on hand in case they dont look right or rub. Here is what I get from AI. But I will also say answers vary each time lol.

My Shelby has 275/35R20 fronts and 305/30R20 rears. So rearshave less sidewall. This was recommended from Shelby American. It did take me a minute to get used too.
