Best Oil For 1st Oil Change - 2024 Ecoboost

Hi everyone,

My new 2024 Mustang Ecoboost just hit 5k miles and I'm scheduled to take it in for a oil change in 10 days. I'm currently debating between these two oils.

Which one should I buy for the car?
Also, the car should take 6 quarts to fill right?

I use the Mobil 1 Extended Performance in 2 Ecoboost Mustangs... S550 and S650 (and most of my other cars).

How often do you do your oil changes? At certain miles first or months?

I use the cars' oil life monitor, change it when it tells me to... after first change @ 1000 mi.

I use the extended performance version every 5k miles. Very pleased with it. And yes... 6 quarts.

I don't put many miles on my Mustang EB. I do an oil change once a year when the oil change light comes on. I've been using Amsoil Signature Series oil and either Wix or Amsoil filter. Yes, fill with filter is 6 quarts.
