Agree fully, I'm 14 months waiting, sold my car in May to make room in the shed, just so frustrating. I ordered a Rapid red with black pack, resigned to waiting now for it. The thought of a hail storm like the other month on my mind with the possibility of my lovely car out in the open.... waiting!

Not to mention our cars have also been sitting on the dock in Baltimore for a few months before shipping getting covered in sleet, snow and all manner of crap.

Ironically, our cars being a ship in the middle of the ocean is the safest place it's been since rolling off the assembly line.

Not sure about USA but last contact with dealer here car is held up at docks and won't be fixed apparently till January if I'm lucky.

I think what still annoys me is that I have been waiting for this car for so long and then I keep seeing so many pop up on Carsales in my spec at dealers and private sales annoyed that so many people just ordered these to profit and I just want to drive and enjoy mine and now it's caught up in this crap.

Just to give a positive message I have the recall, I have experienced two screen crashes, yes I got my car before the recall , but I freaking love this car, yes anybody selling them are out to make money, once you get to daily it, it's just simply an awesome car to drive, hang in there the wait will be worth it.

I notice a few guys have had their new cars delivered this last week or so - do any of you know if your cars were on the recall list and it has been sorted before delivery, or were your cars not subject to the recall in the first place?

I’m taking delivery on Wednesday, mine is not on the recall list.
My dealer has 3 other DH there that can’t be delivered, as their VINs are flagged.

Wondering the same, contacted my dealer and they said they were not tracking that a fix is available in the US but they have been told “Ford is working hard to resolve it.”

Just saw this post by someone on the Dark Horse Australian Facebook group. Take it with a pinch of salt until we hear anything official, but if true it might be reasonably good news. Apparently dealers got an update to the recall bulletin last night. I'll ping my dealer later and see if I can get an update from them.

" Just finished talking to my sales guy who read the bulletin for me while on the phone. Ford has started pushing software update on the vehicles in their compound that has not been delivered to dealers yet. The process has begun. He said dealers usually get the update once Ford has performed update on the vehicles in possession. Still no exact date and the details in bulletin are not very clear. But it appears the process has begun. "

I just had a call from the salesman at my dealership, he confirmed there was a fix and that cars will be updated at Melbourne port before getting to the dealership. Rough timeline was for before the new year, but potentially after Christmas

My GT is caught up in the stop sell recall. My dealer offered me a Black manual Dark Horse if I was interested!
Too rich for me, but perhaps someone on here would be interested? Arriving at the dealer 21st Dec.

Hi All, great to read the good news development above, thanks for sharing. I just got off a call from my Ford dealer too advising that Ford now formally has a fix for this recall. The cars held at the docks are being released. They'll reach the pre-delivery centre soon.

No firm ETA known yet however around when they will reach the pre-delivery centre, the actual fix deployment in the car, or the delivery date.

I was unofficially told that they are trying to arrange delivery this side of Christmas if all goes as per plan. Yay, excitement building again. Hoping for the best.

I have been offered Tuesday (17 Dec) next week as the earliest I can collect but likely will be collecting the car next Friday (20 Dec), when my family could come with me at the time of handover, super excited, can't stop smiling

Can I please seek thoughts on StealStopper Immobiliser ($1,595) the dealer is offering? Never heard of them and can't find online reviews about them. I am sceptical, but the dealer sales person is selling this highly. I am no expert, any guidance / advice would be much appreciated, thank you.

Very excited for you! I wonder when the fix will get pushed down to dealerships. I just called mine and told them about your delivery and asked for an update and they still have no fix and are unaware that Ford even has one.
