You guys crack me up.

I’m gonna try not to be offensive here, so keep that in mind when reading this. But it’s difficult to say what I think needs to be said without being a bit blunt.

First off, if it’s broke then get it fixed.

This is a drivers’s car, meant to be told firmly what to do without parsing every nuance of throttle response in one mode or another. Put the darn thing in track mode and leave it there. Modulate the throttle a bit if a LEO gets right behind you but otherwise leave it alone.

Vacuum readings? Vacuum readings? Are you kidding? I swear I was largely unaware my DHs even have a vacuum gauge! Under everyday circumstances I’d say it’s just there for the coolness factor. About as useful as mammary glands on a boar hog. Come on…

They‘re y’all’s cars and money, so do as you see fit. But I honestly think a lot of folks would be better off selling the DH and getting a regular GT that they could just lollygag around in but still look and sound good. Or alternatively give your DH the beans at every opportunity instead of droning on about how bad it is and what you don’t like about it.

Just one hard core old timer’s opinion and worth exactly what you just paid me for it.
Ive yet to check out the vacuums gauge. Probably never will

Attached are 8 pictures of my 2025 Vapor Blue Dark Horse w/o Handling Package. It was ordered with the "Hood Stripe Delete". I installed the Anderson Composites Carbon Fiber Integrated Rear Ducktail Spoiler painted to match the body color. I had the door side mirror caps painted in body color. The Anderson Composite Integrated Spoiler fit better than the factory rear trunk lid component supporting the factory wing spoiler.

Are those Mach 1 HP wheels? And did it require new TPMS sensors?

You have excellent eyesight and are very perceptive. They are 2021 Mach 1 Non-Handling Pack Optional Y Spoke wheels. They were a takeoff from my 2021 Mach 1 which I sold after it was repaired from a bad rear end collision. I mounted Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 Plus Ultra High-Performance All-Season tires in the standard factory sizes on the 2021 Y spoke wheels.

I kept the factory 2025 DH wheels with their summer Pirelli tires. Yes, I had to switch the TPMS sensors to the 433 MHZ type used on the 2024/2025 cars. Externally, the 2021 TPMS sensors and the 2025 TPMS sensors are exactly alike but the 2025 car cannot read a signal from the 315 MHZ 2021 TPMS sensors. However, other than that, the 2021 Mach 1 wheels are a perfect fit. The 2021 wheels have more gloss than the 2025 wheels.

P.S. When I first got the 2021 Mach 1 in March 2021, I took off the Factory optional Y Spoke wheels with their summer performance tires and mounted All Season tires on a set of factory Mach 1 Base Five spoke wheels which were on the car when I sold it. Therefore, the condition of the 2021 Y spokes were nearly new when I mounted them on the DH.

Modern V8✅️
Great manual transmission✅️
Excellent handling✅️

This is not the car I needed but its definitely the car I wanted.

Some day I'll get a more practical and quick EV(Ioniq 5 N) but not yet, not ready.
