LOL, look at the poster's location, he's in SC. The sales tax there on cars is capped at $500. And perhaps the dealer also didn't hose him on fees and other nonsense?

Every state, every dealer and every deal is different. If you reallly want a great deal, see what Granger has in stock.
Well that was my bad didn't realize it was $500 max.

Mine was $72460msrp got it $72500 including 9.xx% ca tax ,otd cash . best deal i could work in Ca and Nv. Got the maintenance package for 3/36 - $1400 full synth , and covers pads rotors belts too.
most dealers out here are trying to mark up the DH or stand firm on pricing. Other than ford rebates that can apply to a DH, not dealers marking off the car Themselves

Based on the information here, it seems that DH's invoice price is about 5% below MSRP?

Its known that if you shop around last model year inventory, when next MY is already rolling to the lots, you typically get a better deal than the start of the year. If you can afford it, december to feb is the absolute best time numbers wise to buy a car like a mustang. Not June when everyone is buying one. But I also think lately there has been more leftover inventory than normal. I could have gotten a better deal by shopping around after my car was delivered. But prefer to order, get exactly what I want, pay the price as agreed. Love my grabber blue 700A M6 with bronze wheels and blue seat belts. Very annoyed at the garage door opener delete. Knew it going in tho…rain sensing wipers, auto high beams, adaptive cruise but no garage opener like its 1985. Think I’m gonna have to get the 2025 part from ford and install it.

It's unclear whether that would work.

As an example, people who purchased the 2025 lighted door sills for their 2026 found out the 2026 models do not have the wiring for them.

it's been confirmed to work I believe, as the home link is just powered from the same power that already powers the lights in the visor. There isn't any other wiring needed, unlike the sills, but its not like its hard to run a line and splice into the door wiring if you want those. I care less about the sills since I'm not sure the dark horse ever had those lit it (someone confirm if otherwise). But very annoyed at the garage door opener delete. That being said the part is over $400. How much do I care? Maybe I put the money into FP oil separators and just deal with my 1985 clip on opener lol

Yeah, I bought a $10 clip opener plus a $10 sunglasses holder for my visor. I really don't understand how much money Ford is saving by cutting this, but I'm sure there are smart people in Detroit thinking about all of this...

Ford claims "no one" used Homelink anymore, but I don't know how people get into their garages without it. 🤷‍♂️
