When i first tuned my eco i was impressed how fast it felt and how smooth shifting became. If ford performance released tune that would make my auto gt shift as good as tuned eco i would buy it immediatelyI wanted a Dark Horse with the handling package, and, well, that is what I bought.
I would like to drive an Ecoboost, though. Frankly, judging by the numbers and a few track videos I watched, it looks like a neat car.
And I think I posted elsewhere that the Ecoboost would have smoked every old muscle car that I owned back in the day. It runs a 13.7 quarter mile. The fastest car in my high school parking lot ran that, and we all thought he was the hero and aspired to be him, lol.

Typical Tuned Quarter-Mile Times & Performance:
This video shows a tuned EcoBoost Mustang achieving 12-second quarter-mile times:
- Basic Tune (e.g., Cobb Stage 1/PH1): Around 13.2 - 13.5 seconds at 104-107 mph with 91/93 octane fuel, improving on stock times significantly.
- With Upgraded Intercooler & Exhaust: Times drop further, with some hitting the 12.9-second range or better in good conditions.
- Aggressive Tuning (Protune/Fueling): Can push times into the high 12s, nearing 12.6 seconds at higher trap speeds.
