During a launch once, I did feel my rear wheel(s) hop. Wondering if anybody else has installed this kit? Was it difficult/worth it? Seems to be on sale now, might be a good time to purchase and install on my Dark Horse. Thanks for any info.

I got them on my DH too and yeah, recommend it! Lessens the rough hops at take offs!

Thanks, will surely order soon. Oh also, did you get an alignment after install?

FYI: Unless they've changed the kit, there's somethiing included that won't fit the S650. Can't recall what it is. Maybe check the other threads.

I did watch the latest Steeda install video and they did an install on a DH. So I'm assuming all will be well.

I didn’t do the wheel alignment but I had sent your question to Steeda and waiting a true respond from the Steeda team! I am curious about it as well!

I got an alignment but it wasn’t necessary. Skip the differential inserts. Tons of vibration, removed them and never looked back. The braces and inserts are great though.

Have you hard launched since removing the diff inserts? Like at the drag strip launch, not just rolling into it.

I don't own a GT, but I have to assume the main reason for the wheel hop is the sudden application of torque (popping the clutch in other words). I can't say I've even seen a 10R80 do it, but they might depending on the launch practice.

Yeah, pretty much. Ever watch the chase scene in Bullitt? Now that’s some serious wheel hop! ( and axle wrap and a seriously overpowered rear suspension. )

S650 independent rear is a few orders of magnitude better at handling this.

Yes, 3K rpm launch control several times. No wheel hop.
Thanks, that’s very helpful!

I had it installed at the same time as my lowering springs and new rims/tires.

Yes, I had to have an alignment done after the fact.

Don’t mean to hijack the thread, but what are these? (It’s from the video posted on this thread) I’m assuming something from Steeda, but couldn’t find them on their site.
