I installed the stop the hop kit and let me just say I've been very happy with how much it has improved the rear end. Despite this, I've concluded that I'm not happy with the increase in NVH that the differential bushing inserts are causing and am going to remove them and retain everything else.

I got an alignment after the original install. My thought was that I shouldn't have to get an alignment because the subframe alignment inserts should ensure that the alignment stays the same when bolting the subframe back up. Am I correct in thinking this?

Also, the differential bolts aren't single use or anything, correct?

hmm... considering this, can you elaborate on what you mean by the increased NVH?

It has annoying gear whine at highway speed. It's not *terrible* but I commute in the car everyday and am sick of hearing it. If it were my weekend warrior I wouldn't care.

So mostly the noise? Is it ever present; enough to interfere with listening to the radio? or just there in the background?

Yes, only the noise. no crazy vibration or anything. The radio question is subjective. For me, I'd say only sometimes.

You shouldn't need another alignment, the sleeves will keep it in the same location. I don't have any diff noise... road noise from rear tires is worse though. Their claim of no NVH I think is impossible... you solidly attach a bushing isolated subframe to the chassis... it's no longer isolated!
