Theres an app for that... probably many... got a cell phone?
The cell phone apps are not as accurate.

you would never use a cell phone app, for instance, in home theater calibration.

the phone microphone is not sensitive enough.

Good enough for playing around but definitely not what you wanna use if you’re trying to get balls on accurat

even that would require something like REW and a calibrated UMIK

If comparing inside the car to outside the car... probably good enough.

AE give you good options- quiet kinda like a normal car or rowdy.

Put the car on a slight grade so that there’s a load on the motor - interstate, wherever - and switch through the modes from quiet on up. That’s when I can really notice the differences. And it screams in track mode on a full power pull. I have the H-pipe so it’s louder than OE. Quiet mode with the H-pipe has a good sound.

Resonator delete and Steeda H-Pipe. You'll definitely hear the difference in modes then and in general.
Around $300 for H-Pipe and 100 something for shop to install it.
I second this 100%. This is the only exhaust mod ive made and it sounds wonderful.

One thing I like is programming your favorite mode to the hot key. Some people program to quiet, and some program to track. But it's nice to just push a button and have what you want.
I second this as well. I assigned track mode to the STAR button. most awesome thing ive discovered on the vehicle thus far lol

I’ve currently made Track Mode my default AE in my Drive Profile, and put Quiet mode on the Star button.

I’ve decided I can be quiet in a hurry if I need to, and Normal and Sport Mode are just a milder flavor of fun….so why bother with those 2…lol.

I don’t find Track Mode too loud for me inside. My Flowmasters in my 06 GT were much more annoying with the drone at a certain RPM. At least to my wife. She has yet to complain about Track Mode exhaust…so…..Giddyup. 🤠

On the 350s ....there is a separate fuse for the AE so if you put into track mode and remove the fuse...it will forever be in track mode..... then if I need to be quiet I just push in the clutch or throw it into a higher gear lol

I couldn’t get a GT without the AVE, helps with the cold starts in the morning. The car was made to have quad tips. Single tip exhaust does not look as good. It is not an option I regret getting. Aftermarket systems are pretty pricy for the S650.

AE plus an H-pipe is the best setup to me. I'm not young enough to want anything louder...

Mellow cruising below 1600 RPM is relatively quiet in all modes.

The car is also isolates the exhaust sound much more than expected when inside with windows up.

Put the car in Track Mode and stand behind it and activate remote rev. Be sure to hit remote rev twice because the 2nd time is the more aggressive rev.

I love the active exhaust!
Remote rev? I didn't know about that.
Let the fun begin .

I know I'm old at 85+! So consider that issue. I really don't think there is much difference between owning a Mustang with active exhaust set at its loudest mode, and any number of gangbangers riding around with their windows open with 500 watts of highly-distorted and blaring acid rock literally mocking local noise ordinances against such activity! I can't speak for your locality, but it is certainly prevalent in my neighborhood. To me, it is an activity which emphasizes your inanity, and apparent lack of audibility. For shame!
Too damn true. The buggers have no ear for music, they have to feel it.

The car you want is 500 miles away?

500 break-in miles done on the highway is really frowned on in the manual. Considered one of the worst things you can do.

Have you considered a professional transport? Not too much more than buying a plane ticket. And you’re not getting your new car with 500 bad miles put on it.
I've done half or more of the break in on the highway with all my recent cars. Mainly because we bought them from distant dealers.
But, if you vary your speed, give it a rev from time to time and let it overun to draw oil into the bores a bit more, it'll be fine.

I've broken in a car 100% on the highway. Simple, as you said, just vary the speed and "punch it" some now and then. Worked fine in that car.
