So, when Ford announced that the S650 Mustang would be going into production, I was expecting a whole new exterior redesign for the 7g car. However, from spy shots and renderings. It looks as if the 2024 Mustang will continue with styling cues from the S550/6g design.

That's what heavy camo + padding do to bodylines. Gen 5 and Gen 6 prototypes also looked really similiar. The final Gen 7 won't be confusable with a Gen 6 at all. Of course the new Mustang will still share the typical fastback silhouette
