would not buy 4 door. no plans to buy the electric version either. i agree to call it something else but not a mustang. how many "SUV" type vehicles will you make?? and really what are the differences between the models? maybe length but the concept is all the same.....so no to the 4 door. mustang was built as a "sports" car, not family sedan. the car industry as a whole is going in a wrong direction i feel. but i understand since everything is "computer" now.....
bronco forums had a poll about going back to old school. engine, buttons, and not much "electronic" stuff on it. i think they were getting good numbers. old school with modern flare.
but they seemed to miss that too. if i wanted a rocket-ship cockpit to sit behind then i would fly a jet. not a car.
electric is still 10yrs behind, so no go for me.
The Mach-E is an electric Escape that they new they couldn't market as an electric Escape. Not a Mustang.

I've said this many times, I think Ford eventually makes Mustang it's own brand, like Dodge did with Ram. This only goes to validate those thoughts.
andnow they want to turn the Mustang into the charger. That’s a lot of copying dodge. Kinda sucks to be honest.

i would rather see the current version of the mustang go away instead of replacing it with an all electric.... dodge most likely will fail with the electric version....but have to wait and see....
i love the mustang but sometimes you just have to say "stop" instead of tarnishing the brand name. i agree with Ash, they would not be able to sell the Mach E if it didnt have the mustang name on it....just an electrified escape....as with most of those cars now.
if we want to switch, then seriously think about hybrid. electric motors to assist on start so the engine kicks in later.....that should save on MPG with the combo.... but not fully electric.

and if you want to have opportunity to buy another ICE car then get it before 2035...after that you will be FORCED to buy electric.... vote where it counts!

Nasty.

if they want to make a sporty 4 door, fine. But call it something else.
Then it won't be greenlit. The only way we get cool enthusiast cars moving forward is if they're part of the mustang sub brand. We were never gonna get a new focus RS, but Ford gave us an electric AWD hatchback with 700 lb ft of torque, and called it the mach-e. We're never gonna get a new crown Vic, or falcon, but we could get a V8 RWD mustang sedan. We're not gonna get a new escort, but we could get a mustang stallion model for a smaller platform or something.

If mustang is how Ford justifies giving us a wide variety of badass performance cars, then I'm all for it. Just keep the coupe around as well.

If Ford decides to do a hot Maverick they might as well slap the Mustang name on it too. Ford Maverick Mustang 😂

totally backward.
That’s what ford thought with the suv.

instead of making something compelling, they diluted the mustang brand by calling that a mustang also.
It worked for a few months and then…. Crickets.

nobody wants a door factory mustang.

ford has an opportunity to do something new and special, not just hang other cars on the coattails of the mustang.

nasty.

bring back svt or something. Don’t confuse everything by pretending a model is a make. Not to mention degrading the actual mustang in the process.

And that’s the point. It doesn’t need to be called “Mustang.”

Just call it the new Falcon or Thunderbird and be done with it.

let the Mustang be the Mustang for crying out loud.
