Did the bird come back and shit on your car again? I'm convinced they target cars with owners that having bird excrement on their cars will bother.
Now that I've seen what my ceramic coating is capable of, I don't think it will bother me nearly as much! I don't know about you, but I have had bird shit that was difficult to remove and even necessitated me waxing the spot to remove the discoloration! Bring it on, birds, but only once a year, please! I hope my dealer gets on with this. Waiting to take delivery of my 25 DH since late August.
I am in the UK but would imagine the fix is worldwide and hope they are aware of it.
Ok seems not in the UK, my dealer knows nothing of this, I called Ford UK who confirmed the fix is still Q1 26, no change 🤦‍♂️

Normally it takes some time
that it arrives here in the EU -
1-2 months!

I am unable to cut and paste it to here. If someone with better office skills than mine would like, I can e-mail you the attachment and you can find a way to post it so its clickable.

Wow , so if they find BCM damage , as of now you lose your car and they give you a rental until they figure out the next step.

Am I reading this correctly ?

Same thing I was thinking... I called my dealership to ask about it just now and she just said they don't have much info on it, if it's something light they'd fix it really quick but if its more than light they'd have to order parts but not sure how long it would take

is there any way to check if it has corrosion/leak before dropping it off at the dealership?

You'd have to remove the right kick panel and do the visible inspection as shown above. If its corroded, there are no BCMS, and the recall info is vague on availability. Based on past experience with Ford, I'd say there are no BCM's available, new car production gets first dibs.

And thanks to Abe for posting it, I sure could not figure it out!

Is this a good solution with the sealing? It looks really not professional. Is it maybe a cheap solution for Ford to keep the costs for this recall down?
