The spare tire in my 2024 was a MSRP $415 option, like $395 invoice, I saw recently the price for a spare had gone up exponentially. In 2025 it was a MSRP of $515.

I believe the spare tire on my '15 Ecoboost was like $215.00. $415.00 is nuts but it is what it is.

That’s an odd invoice. They list ‘Brake calipers”…. as opposed to sticking your feet through the floor and stopping like Fred Flintstone?

Starting in 2011 forward Mustangs with Brembo brakes came with no spares. Those had tire size that would not fit in the well. You could purchase after market.

These car do come with spares (at least the '24s did). The limitation is on the cars with the 6 piston brembos. Ford doesn't make a spare that will fit over the calipers AND fit in the trunk. It's been that way since the S550.

I think any 24 MY that came with a spare, it was at additional cost... the inflator has been standard for some time, but you could order a spare (non PP cars). The spares available from automotive authority will fit over the Brembo brakes and fit in the trunk...

Ford is clawing at every single penny they can.

The whole paragraphs on "50 state emissions" is just verbal jiu-jitsu, translation: We're gonna charge California, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, etc. more because we can, and to avoid officially announcing a vehicle price increase. I doubt they're building Ecoboosts with 2 different powertrains depending on your state. They've been doing them all uniform for '24 and '25 all along.

I took out the mickey mouse slime system and put in a Modern spare. Inexpensive enough for the added peace of mind on my 2025 and it fits in trunk just fine.

When getting an after market spare one needs to watch tire diameter. Installing a tire on the rear with differences can cause problems with the differential.

I suspect it's just listing everything that comes on the Premium package.

Maybe in 2024, but in 2025 they sure as shit didn’t include a spare with my GT Premium.

The "spare tire slime, Mickey Mouse compressor system" of dealing with a flat tire sucked and now, it looks like that is an option. WTH are they not thinking? They're asking for sales to drop even more.

I"ve gone the "belt and braces" route. Factory inflator and slime, my aftermarket inflator, and my bike puncture repair kit. (Dog turds)
None of would have helped on the three punctures we've had in the last 12 years.

It's listed on the order guide as a stand alone option (2024 MY).
