How about they close those awful looking fender well holes on each side as an upgrade? That would be something in a right direction.

From what I read the wireless charging feature was slow and overheated.
Lol. Says the internet.

Wireless charging will never be as fast as corded charging. It's whole purpose is to keep your phone from being drained while connected to Android and Apple play and streaming music. The heat thing varys. Wireless chargers get warmer during constant use or with thick phone cases. I've never heard of one "overheating". Most phones have a safety feature that stops charging if it gets too hot.

Would be interesting if someone who has this feature, can confirm. Many manufacturers offer also cooled wirless charging. They could have modified it, but of course it is Ford and that is a wishful thinking
I have wireless charging and use it all the time. Never had a problem. Thick phone cases are usually thr problem.

I got the car a week ago... I've driven only for two days, but I used the wireless charging first day(for 1 hour more or less), when I picked up the car from dealer, and yes, the iPhone was hot. I think is ok for use sometimes but not for put the phone over the charging all the time.

Just leave it somewhere else.

My wireless charger without fail causes my phone to overheat badly and actually doesn't charge my phone most of the time.

You're a little out of the loop. Newer 25’s are covered.
Oh okay I was not aware of this. Thanks.

I knew that there were DIY stores who sold you them for 100 bucks or so, but I didn't know that Ford had finally fixed it for MY25. Hopefully they keep them closed for MY26 :D

Yeah the early '25s didn't have them. It seems to be a mid-year production change. But to this day no one at Ford seems to know anything about them. Dealers are still completely oblivious.
