No, we all don't know what these holes were for. The robot thing was debunked. And no Ford employee has come forward. That's all just the same internet speculation that keeps getting repeated.

I personally don't care. It's a hole. Cover it, move on, and enjoy your car.
If I buy a late MY 25 or even MY 26 DH and still find these holes, I am coming to Arizona to find you Ryan :D Just kidding :p

No real replacement for Atlas Blue ;_; Adriatic Blue appears to be the color that was shown with the FX package; can't say I'm feeling it. I don't know when Grabber Blue became a metallic but it's too 60s for me.

Some of the equipment deletions sound like cost-cutting (like Homelink; how many of us use separate garage door openers?), others sound like supplier issues/cutbacks (the aluminum pedals).

I think at this rate, the two door Mustang variant will go away in 2027 and possibly be replaced by the 4 door.
There's no evidence that Ford is working on a 4-door Mustang. This platform was never intended to be a sedan. Furthermore, 2027 isn't as far away as you might think, from a production standpoint. If there was a 4-door based on the Mustang, we'd have seen mules/prototypes on the road by now.

We haven't.

Only Mustang-based mules that have been seen in the last ~7 months have been mules for the upcoming GT500.

There's also the fact that Ford said 7 years ago that they were done building sedans for the North American market. They have made good on that and do not appear to be in any hurry to walk that back.

I had visible steam coming out of my ears when I found out I cannot get atlas blue while optioning out a car at the dealer.

Like, cmon, you're telling me you can't just steal a bucket or two out of the Escape or explorer factory?

Fuckin, silver it is...

Nothing wrong with silver. It's iconic even. Throw the nite pony package at it and it becomes bad ass. Always get compliments when out cruising.

Cz…..I hadn’t planned on silver, but it did catch my eye, and now I can’t picture owning another color. (maybe if they had metallic red still, that would have nailed it For me). But you’ll be very happy with silver!

Going through 2026 options out of curiosity, some interesting changes.

3.55 gears are now standard and the 3.15’s are now the option.
illuminated door sills gone
Universal garage door opener gone

3.55’s are standard with the manual. The A10 gets 3.15 as standard.

It is interesting, isn't it? Ford made everyone happy by announcing that the V8 engine would stay.

But then, they put the funky dual throttle body design on it in the name of emissions compliance which complicated things and added cost. And they jacked the price WAYYYY up. And every model year that goes by now loses content or at best charges extra for content. And then the media writes about how Mustang sales are at their lowest point in decades, making it sound like people are falling out of love with the Mustang.

It's all very frustrating.

Like, why can't Ford understand that a LOT of people want to buy a Mustang GT but we simply refuse to pay $850/month for it?

All of the news coming out of Dodge this month is pointing toward a plethora of V8 powered vehicles in the next 3 years, many of which will be all-new models. It will be very interesting to see how Ford responds to this, or if they even care to respond to it.

I don't think the dual tb's were for emmisions, nor do I think they're overcomplicating the design at all.

I read that originally they put the dual TB's because some ford exec saw them on a ferrari and thought it looked cool. Led to a bunch of RnD and eventually we got what we have today.

Dual TB's wouldn't do much for emmisions, its just more air

Cz. it’s not that bad….lol. Silver is a sharp color!

Bikeman: I stand corrected. Wandering through 47 pages of order specs…I guess I lost my place. BTW: That CS is NICE!

A few years ago i bought a 2011 Infiniti FX50S. It also had a 5 liter V-8 with dual trottle bodies. Add in all-wheel drive and that thing would scoot. We called it the Beast. A while later, when i saw a picture of the 24 Mustang GT with the dual trottle bodies sitting on top of the 5.0 I knew right then I was going to get one. Took a couple of years but finally made it happen. No ragrets. Not even one. LOL.
