yeah I don't know why, but this one doesn't do it for me. I do like the looks of the FP 800 package with white wheels tho

I like the paint color but the rest ya no thanks. Those wheels are hideous and the white nostril look, meh.

If nothing else this thread confirms Ford should never attempt to revive the fox body. Everything fox body inspired about the s650 people seem to hate. The interior, specifically the dashboard of the s650 looks very similar to the fox body, just swap the screen for the instrument cluster pod. That's one of people's least favorite design aspects of the s650. These wheels are inspired by fox body wheels, people hate 'em. The seats are inspired by the fox body, people hate them. The paint color is more well received, but not universally loved, and it's very close to what the foxbody has.

I personally believe mustang should keep the 60s design influence and just pretend like the 70s-90s never happened.

I like the color. Reminds me of gulf stream aqua. Glad they are offering it, as other have said just to spice it up a bit.

However….i think someone else nailed it when they said the design language just doesn’t fit the car. Individually, I actually like the wheel style and the new body color. But not on this body shape. Colors like this look better on more shapely cars. Not the large, increasingly squared up modern design language so many MFGs seem to be using. I’ve noticed some supercar MFGs starting to trend back towards more “old school” body work with curves and accents. Hoping this trend continues. I’m not a fan of chrome on newer cars generally, but I think that would have actually worked here for the wheels. The nostrils…i like the fact they added the styling touch but not how they executed it.

I suspect it will appeal more to the ladies, which ain’t a bad thing. My niece would love it if I bought this car.

This was an obvious design decision made by the same 90 IQ person that came up with the twin tablets and the Camaro front end. Mustang; it’s been nice knowing you…
It doesn’t matter how much horsepower a turd has. IMHO
