Ford just cancelled my order for 24 model year. Gt premium vert, manual, pp, magneride, active exhaust. Ford is done with manual verts for the current model year.

Bummer. I would be pissed to have to wait almost another year to get it.

All good, it's being built. All the MagneRide and Brembo equipped vehicles got grouped together in that same window; there's at least one Dark Horse being built.

Sad. May be worth checking the Ford site (put in different zip codes + 100 mile range) and checking dealer sites, there are some built GT Verts with MagneRide.

What exterior color are they after? I'm assuming trifecta (PP, MagneRide, Active Valve), interior color is probably going to be black if a dealer spec'd it.

Yea thats it. The trifecta. There's one new one left in the states but it has the red interior.

10 speed auto is not a bad thing. If Ford would install the tremec 6 speed manual in the GT I would have ordered it. I didn’t want to spend the money on a Dark Horse. But you should get what you want.

Is there a way to track the current status of my car. I have order number and VIN from dealer, but don't know if there is a URL to check it online. Apologies if this has been answered already, but I am in Australia and have been waiting for 2.5 Years for my Dark Horse.

Not sure where QLD is however the tracking pages seem to be geographic specific.

My Canada order will NOT show up on the US website and I'm sure vice versa.

Which site did you use? Don't think the US or CANADA ones would work for you.

I just went back and tried mine again and it is also telling me....

"The Order Number and VIN entered do not match with a corresponding vehicle order."

Seems like it took a long time to load too so not sure what the deal is. Database error? Down for maintenance?

My VIN and order # have been working for a couple of weeks now and, as of August 8th, 2024, it said it was IN PRODUCTION.

Could be a bug? Could be Ford Cancelled the order? If that is the case I'd be unhappy considering I just sold my 2021 GT Premium (supercharged) on Friday. I am reading on other parts of the web that the Ford Tracking site has issues.

Hi MCS, I tried the US site. Funny my car build date was also around 08 Aug 2024, and that is the reason I am getting a bit anxious as I don’t want it to be pushed back any further, not that I have any control over it. But 2.5 Years wait is a long time and I am losing my patience knowing others have started to arrive when I was one of the first to order.
But it’s interesting to know that others are getting the same error for some of their vehicles.

@Kaps it is back up and running correctly. At least mine is.

You may want to try again but keep in mind you being in AUS is like being on another planet when it comes to tracking stuff

I just checked on mine today and it looks like the order was updated yesterday; and it's still on track!

If only Ford would send me a pic of it being built. That would be next level!

The "in production" date will eventually start displaying a static, manually-set date when it's on-the-line, and then it moves to a "built" date before it gets shipped.
