I haven't had any issues with mine thus far, but I also haven't needed to make changes. I'm just wondering how long production takes. They said it may take a couple days, laughable, I've read it may take several weeks. It's been "in production for a week now so we'll see what happens. I posted the info from Ford on their tracking and my VIN in an earlier post if you're interested in what it looks like.

Yeah, all I wanted to add to my built was the nite pony pack... but my sales guy at the dealership is less than responsive... I'm gonna drive up there today after work to make sure it gets added and I get an updated copy of the build sheet.

I gotta say, my dealer was great to work with. I didn't get a build sheet print out like a lot of people have posted. I got a multi-page print out of exactly what you see on the build web page. I signed that, they put the order in and I got an email from Ford within a few days of confirmation, then a couple weeks later I got the message it was scheduled for production the week of June 9. Two weeks later I got a message that it was in production. So, pretty smooth sailing so far. I'll post when I get the "Built" message. I'd like to think that will come in the next few weeks.

I seen that my nearby ford is advertising the new mustang, I called them about it and they said they have some inventory coming next week or week after. They already trying to close deals on them before they arrive.

I saw one yesterday that matches my Factory Order almost to a tee (only difference is that it's white and doesn't have the premium mats/liners).

I just posted a conversation with Ford support regarding my order. It really sure what that means since it’s been “in production” for two weeks now and she says that’s the beginning stage of production

**Make sure the username you entered into the sheet matches the one you enter for the Change Form Request or it will not work.

Dark Horse update. My dealer just called me and he had just received a call from Ford regarding my DH order. They told my dealer they are putting the DH on allocation (one per dealer) and it can not be ordered with the handling package or appearance package which means no ember blue either. If I want to switch my order because I was first in line at my dealer, they would build it this month. If not, they said 6-12 months for Ember Blue, appearance package and handling package. Not sure why they tried to market and sell a vehicle they can’t make with all the bells and whistles.

BTW. I told them no thank you. The future value of having the handling package will be better long term. Kind of like buying a 1965 A code versus a 1965 K code.

Me too, I have also ordered a DH with Handling Package (No Appearance or Blue Ember though) and I haven’t been called yet asking to remove anything.
