That was a lame contest with a foregone conclusion. It's dumb to spend $10K on the internals of a Coyote when you could spend less than that and get a lot more power using FI and stock internals.So these new ecoboost V6's are crushing it on torque. Fusion sport's 2.7 will have what 380 ft/lbs. The MKZ's new 3.0 will have 400 ft/lbs?

The 5.0 had a nice high HP #, but the torque was bout stock. I'm guessing boost of course would fix that...but it would be nice to see some displacement increase.
Regarding DOD, I'm ok with it as long as I can turn it off. Really we need to fix the source of the problem - CAFE standards are just stupid at this point and are costing all of us a lot of money.
