As facetious as it may sound, I just plant my butt in the seat and drove my Mustang!

This is not to say there aren't a few things I'd like to see. But you, and other after-market firms, are in the same boat as the owners. You can change colors, add doodads, and you can even modify the way the car drives. In my eyes, none of this really amplifies the true nature of the vehicle, save for cosmetics. In other words, what Ford designs into the Mustang is darn hard to improve upon.

Just keep the interior clean, treat the leather seats and plastic parts with "303 Protectant" and enjoy the car. If you drive it in the winter or rain, get some good floor mats ala Weather Shield.
Spend money on keeping the car clean and well maintained!!
